A beautiful October day

I always get nervous as a Midwest photographer when fall comes around because the weather can be wacky. One day might be a breezy 72 degrees while the next could be a brisk 32 degrees. Well, this day was one of the beautiful ones. The sun was shining with not a cloud in the sky (sometimes a photographer's worst nightmare haha, but not today).

I went into this session really wanting to focus on authentically documenting their family. I wanted the photos to give a warm, cozy, true-to-you vibe and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. But the credit shouldn't go to me. I simply captured the beauty of their family. It was all so natural. From walking their dogs, to giving sweet snuggles-they just did what they normally would do. And every single moment was perfect.
